Join colleagues and board members for this engaging group experience entitled "Connections and Separations".Sid Siapush, MD, CGP, will present and discuss his group work in engaging adolescents in group therapy. Dr. Siapush will show clips from contemporary films that have stimulated discussions of identity, connection, and relatedness in the adolescent and that have served as learning models in the development of intimacy. Sid will share how he chooses the films and how he integrates them into the group process. Program attendees will be treated to both a didactic and a group experience. Sid Siapush, MD, is a psychiatrist in private practice at the Evergreen Clinic in Kirkland, Washington. He also serves as the Educational Chair and Service Director at Fairfax Hospital in Kirkland, Washington. CE: Continuing education credits (2 units) will be available for all masters level clinicians.
